Faith Statement

  • I believe that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. I believe the Bible is God’s final authority for truth in the world today. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 17:17, Psalm 119:160)

  • I believe in the Divine Trinity, that God is One but manifested in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit being co-equal. (Genesis 1:26, Isaiah 48:16)

  • I believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God and came and lived a perfect life in the flesh. I believe He died of the behalf of all humanity, and that He rose again on the third day, conquering sin and death. I believe that each person is born with sin and must confess and repent of their sins and come to a clear belief in Jesus’ death and resurrection on their behalf to spend eternity with God. (John 1:14, Philippians 2:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Matthew 12:40, Luke 24:46, Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:9, Romans 10:9-10)

  • I believe that salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from the works and the Law, and is made operative by grace through the faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16)

  • I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ shall return for the Church and that His coming is imminent. (Acts 1:11, Revelation 1:7, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

  • I believe in water baptism by immersion is a direct commandment of the Lord and that ordinance is for believers only as a symbol of the Christian’s Identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. (Matthew 3:16, Mark 1:10, Acts 8:38-39)

  •  I believe the Holy Spirit resides in each believer and offers life and power as we learn to walk under His guidance. I believe that all the gifts of the Spirit are in operation today.  (Romans 8:9-11, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 14:1, Ephesians 4:11-13)

  • I believe in the enemy, satan, is real and active in the world today. (1 Peter 5:8, 2 Corinthians 11:14)

  • I believe that all sin is equal except one which is blasphemes of the Holy Spirit. (Mark 3:28–29, Matthew 12:31–32, Luke 12:10)
