Professional Services

I specialize in working with trauma and ADHD through a Christian counseling lens, supporting people facing issues such as partner betrayal, chronic illness, eating disorders, and life transitions. I use several types of therapies to engage in ways to produce the healing that you are seeking. One of those ways is Eye Movement Depensation and Reprocessing (EMDR). My counseling integrates professional therapeutic approaches with faith, prayer, and biblical truth to promote healing and hope.

I offer both in-person and virtual (telehealth) counseling sessions. Thanks to modern technology, many barriers that once made accessing mental health care difficult are no longer an obstacle. My goal is to ensure you receive the care you need, and I am grateful to offer virtual counseling as a flexible and accessible option for support.

Virtual Appointments

  • To make the most from a virtual session please follow these suggested guidelines:

  • I recommend a laptop or desktop with the biggest screen you have available.  If you need to use a tablet or cell phone, please prop up the device prior to the start of the session. Be sure it is stable and the camera is eye level.

  • Confidential space is required.  If you do not have a room for privacy please consider a laundry room, walk-in closet, or car (encouraged to choose this as last resort and be sure are parked in a safe, private spot.) You should not be driving when an appointment is being held.

  • If needed wear headphones or earbuds so that your therapists voice is private and audible only to you.

What to expect with virtual session:

  • Therapist will ask your physical location. The client must be in the state of licensure of the therapist.

  • Once you have confirmed that you are alone, in a private location, you and your therapist will agree on what to do if the service is interrupted or disconnected.

  • Therapist will inquire about your privacy for the session.  Rest assured that your therapist will ensure confidentiality.

  • Emergency protocol: In the unlikely event that you were to have a medical emergency while in a virtual session, your therapist will contact the local emergency services and your local emergency contact.

Insurance/Payment

I accept several major employer-based health insurance plans. Please contact me directly to confirm whether I am in-network with your specific insurance provider.

If I am considered out-of-network, you may still be able to use your insurance benefits. Many plans offer out-of-network coverage, which can reimburse a portion of each therapy session—often between 50% and 80% after your out-of-network deductible has been met, if applicable. Insurance plans vary, and out-of-network benefits are an option many people are not aware of. For clients using out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide a monthly superbill for submission to your insurance company.

All out-of-network or self pay clients will be provided a Good Faith Estimate according to the Public Health Service Act.

Payment for self-pay sessions is required at the end of each appointment. I accept HSA cards, credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
